Organization Setup
Creating and configuring your FlowTrux organization.
An organization is the top-level tenant in FlowTrux. All workspaces, workflows, members, AI providers, and MCP servers belong to an organization.
Creating an Organization
When you sign up for FlowTrux, a personal organization is automatically created for you. You become the Owner of that organization.
There is no separate step to create an organization during the signup flow. One user account (one email) corresponds to one organization.
If you are joining an existing organization via an invite link, the invite registration process creates your user account and submits a membership request to that organization instead.
First Visit
On your first login FlowTrux shows a single, skippable onboarding question - "What will you automate?". Based on your answer it pre-selects the template gallery for your field and creates a working demo workflow that runs with no configuration on your plan's included AI credits. You can run it immediately, then change or delete it.
Subscription Plans
Each organization has a subscription plan that determines resource limits (workflows, members, executions, storage). See Plans & Limits for details.
- Free - basic usage, no billing required
- Paid plans (Starter, Pro, Enterprise) - require a billing address. Business entities can provide a Tax ID for invoicing
Organization Settings
Organization settings live in Settings (accessible from the user menu and the sidebar) and are managed by the Owner or an Admin. The Settings area has the tabs Organization, Members, Usage, Billing, and your personal Profile.
Shared resources - AI providers, MCP servers, knowledge bases, files, forms, and templates - are managed separately on the Resources page.
Name
The display name of your organization. This appears in the UI header and member-facing pages.
Slug
A URL-friendly identifier for your organization, auto-generated from the organization name at signup. It must be unique across all FlowTrux organizations and cannot be changed later.
Billing Address
Paid plans require a billing address (set in Settings > Organization). This information appears on invoices; business entities can also provide a Tax ID (VAT/EIN).
Deleting the Organization
The Owner can permanently delete the organization from the Danger Zone in Settings > Organization. This removes all workflows, workspaces, members, and configured resources and cannot be undone.
Profile
Your personal preferences live in Settings > Profile:
- Language - the UI is available in 8 languages: English, German, Dutch, French, Italian, Polish, Spanish, and Portuguese.
- Timezone - controls how dates and times are displayed across the app. Note that cron trigger schedules have their own timezone setting, configured on the Trigger node itself.
Next Steps
- Invite members to your organization
- Create workspaces to organize your workflows
- Configure AI providers to use your own API keys in agent nodes
- Review your plan and usage limits
